Across these facilities, we run seven bottling lines accommodating various bottle formats and batch sizes, effectively meeting the demands of large-volume brands and low-volume premium wines.
Vinpac Barossa Valley
Vinpac Barossa Valley operates five bottling lines with flexible shift patterns. The facility is designed to accommodate various packaging requirements and batch sizes, offering customers flexibility and options for multiple products.
Key characteristics of the Vinpac Barossa Valley facility include:
- Operates five bottling lines with flexible shift patterns
- Configured for both high-volume and low-volume batch sizes
- High-volume throughput nominally 16,000 bottles per hour
- Low-volume throughput nominally 4,000 bottles per hour
- Processes approximately 8 million 9 Litre Equivalents (9LEs) annually
- Capable of running all bottle formats and cap configurations
- Supports bottling of sparkling wines
- Provides non-alcohol and low-alcohol processing capabilities
- Warehousing capacity for 38,000 pallets of finished and/or dry goods

This articulated robotic arm, installed in 2023, automates the packaging of bottles into cartons. Capable of packaging up to 36 bottles with dividers in a single cycle, it supports the line's capability of processing up to 18,000 bottles per hour.

At Vinpac International, we've made a big commitment to upgrading our machinery, replacing older equipment with cutting-edge technology to ensure we're always delivering the best quality and care for your bottling needs. One of the key upgrades is to Line 8, one of our high-speed lines in Angaston. With this improvement, we'll be able to continue offering innovative solutions to meet your needs and exceed expectations.
This upgrade not only boosts our capacity by 50%, but it also introduces steam generation to use water and energy more efficiently. It's all part of our ongoing effort to reduce our environmental impact, alongside recent investments in solar energy and wastewater treatment. We're excited about the positive changes these upgrades will bring, both for our customers and for the planet.

Vinpac McLaren Vale operates two bottling lines with flexible shift patterns. The facility is designed to accommodate various packaging requirements and batch sizes, offering customers flexibility and options for various products.

- Operates two bottling lines with flexible shift patterns
- Configured for both high-volume and low-volume batch sizes
- Processes approximately 1.2 million 9 Litre Equivalents (9LEs) annually
- Capable of running 375ml, 500ml, 750ml, 1500ml, 3000ml, and 6000ml bottle formats
- Supports cork, screw cap, and lux screw cap on both lines
- Provides offline services such as waxing and other specialised tasks
- Warehousing capacity for 4,500 pallets of finished and/or dry goods
