Our dedication to environmental stewardship is evident through a range of initiatives aimed at reducing our ecological footprint. From investing in solar energy and wastewater treatment projects to implementing recycling programs and sustainable packaging solutions, we continuously strive to minimise our environmental impact.
We divert approximately 99% of waste from landfill, with ongoing efforts to address the remaining 1%.

Our manufacturing sites are committed to sustainability by effectively managing waste and recycling materials.
We divert approximately 99% of waste from landfill, with ongoing efforts to address the remaining 1%. Recycled materials include glass, cardboard, paper, soft and hard plastics, pallets, slip sheets, grape marc, stalks, seeds, and plastic tubes from the lab.
These initiatives ensure our operations contribute to a circular economy, reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices within the wine industry.
Solar installations will produce at least 25% of our electricity requirements.

Vinpac International is committed to addressing climate change and reducing its carbon footprint by implementing energy efficiency measures and adopting renewable energy.
Initiatives to replace old equipment with energy-efficient alternatives and implement solar systems have been undertaken at the majority of Vinpac facilities.
Solar installations will produce at least 25% of our electricity requirements, avoiding over 1,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent in the first 12 months, benefiting the community by reducing environmental impact.
Our state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant at Research Road treats up to 120 million liters of wastewater annually.
Waste Water
Recognising water as a precious resource, Vinpac International is dedicated to investment in water reuse options.
Our state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant at Research Road treats up to 120 million liters of wastewater annually, producing high-quality treated water. This water will be reused for crops planted on-site and neighboring vineyards through a dedicated pipeline.
Additionally, there is potential for further treatment and reuse in washdown areas, significantly improving water efficiency and supporting local agriculture.
